Reservoir is a French brand founded in 2015 by François Moreau who has always been passionated by watchmaking and vintage measuring instruments. Reservoir’s inspiration comes from the aesthetic appeal of measurement instruments. Although Reservoir’s headquarters are located in Paris, Reservoir watches are handmade in Switzerland at La Chaux-de-Fonds which guarantees the Swiss made label. Reservoir watches tell time in an unusual way since the retrograde minute and jumping hour hand stand for the usual three hands on the watches. The calibre of the watches comes from an ETA 28-24-2 movement. The single hand of the watch jumps back every 60 minutes which mirrors the significance of an hour passed and invites you to seize the opportunities of the coming hour.
