MICHEL HERBELIN

Michel Herbelin is a French brand founded in 1947 in Charquemont. Michel Herbelin decided to create this company as a stand against mass production watches. The brand is still run by Michel Herbelin’s sons, Jean-Claude and Pierre Michel. The brand’s watches are made in France but they have Swiss movements according to the company’s motto “Swiss heart, French soul”. The philosophy of the brand revolves around the marine universe. The brand released the Newport Yacht Club during the 80’s which paid tribute to this universe. Other collections like the Odyssée belong to this family. Michel Herbelin’s collection is divided into three main categories: Sport, Classique and Boutique. The Newport collection belongs to the Sport category which is inspired by the sea.
