In 2002 David Zanetta, a watch collector, and Denis Flageollet, son of a watchmaker, decided to create brand new watchmaking brand. Their vision relied on scientific breakthroughs and chronometric precision, pushing aesthetic and craftsmanship to merge together and create perfection. Each year De Bethune produce a few hundred watches which are considered as the quintessence of watchmaking. De Bethune is an independent Swiss manufacture which creates unique pieces like the Maestri Art collection which pays tribute to engravers thanks to engraved dials enhanced by diamonds and gold particles. The current collection offers great complications like moon phases, perpetual calendars, GMT or tourbillons. The Dream Watch Collection can be seen as a research into shapes, materials and colors making essential functions like display of the hour or the moon phase almost vanish.
