The word “corniche” comes from the French Côte d’Azur since Corniche’s founders have been living in Sanary sur Mer in Provence in France. The word “corniche” means “cliff road” in French and describes the landscape of the French Riviera. Corniche released their first watch in 2013, the Mistral 40 with roman figures on the dial. Corniche watches are very classic quartz two-hands watches but they have luxury assets. Actually all watches feature a sapphire crystal, an engraved caseback, a butterfly clasp, a ceramic dial and a piano lacquered box. All of these specifications are legacies from the world of luxury watches.
