SPEAKE-MARIN

Speake-Marin was founded in 2002 by a British watchmaker. Two years before, in 2000, Speake-Marin created its first piece, the Foundation Watch, a pocket watch with a tourbillon movement. Speake-Marin watches are inspired by English marine chronometers. In 2003 the brand introduced its first collection, the Original Collection with a singular case, the Piccadilly. One year later, the brand unveiled the Serpent Calendar with the serpentine hand. This hand will quickly become a signature of the brand. In Speake-Marin the brand started making great complication watches and released the Vintage Tourbillon and the Perpetual Calendar. The brand unveiled their first in-house movement, the SM2, in 2010. One year later, Speake-Marin introduced the Spirit Pioneer, a new watch with a black dial. In 2015 the brand announced a new concept, the “Cabinet des Mystères”, with the launch of two new timepieces. The first one, the Jumping Hours, featured four jumping hour indicators and the second one, the Face to Face, featured the automatic SM3 calibre and 60-second tourbillon.
