ROMAIN GAUTHIER

Romain Gauthier established his own manufacture in Le Sentier, Switzerland in 2005. He only employed one watchmaker at that time and the two of them created the first in-house movement, the Calibre HM2206. In 2007 the brand unveiled their first watch, the Prestige HM at Baselworld. In 2010 the brand launched the Prestige HMS, an evolution of the Prestige HM with a partly open dial. The brand announced the Prestige HMS Natural Titanium in 2011. The company released the Logical One in 2013 which featured a new constant-force movement with ruby-link chain and push-button winding. This watch won the Best Men’s Complication Watch at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. One year later, the brand declined this version with diamonds and decorative displays. In 2016, Romain Gauthier presented two amazing novelties, the Prestige HMS Black Titanium and the Logical One Natural Black Titanium. The brand also revealed a new in-house calibre with a bidirectional micro-rotor and 80-hour power reserve in 2017.
