ROGER DUBUIS

The brand Roger Dubuis was founded in 1995 by Roger Dubuis and Carlos Dias. The two men met when Roger Dubuis was already running his own workshop. At first, the brand unveiled two collections, the Sympathie and the Hommage. The Sympathie collection embodied the modern approach of the brand with a cushion-shaped case and a bi-retrograde perpetual calendar. The Hommage collection paid tribute to historical watches with round cases and traditional complications. Then, the watches became more “avant-garde”. The “Too Much”, “Much More” and “Follow Me” collections had unconventional cases, dials, and displays. The Excalibur collection, introduced in 2005, remains one of Roger Dubuis most iconic collection. The fact that calibres are visible throughout the skeleton displays has become a signature for the brand. The Excalibur range now features new great complications like the flying tourbillon chronograph. More recently, Roger Dubuis has made some collaborations with famous brands like Pirelli and Lamborghini in order to reinforce the special link with the automobile world.
