MB&F

MB&F stands for Maximilian Büsser and Friends. The brand was founded by Maximilian Büsser in 2005 and his aim was to gather different groups of independent developers, designers and technicians in order to create the most innovative products ever. In 2007 the brand introduced their very first watch, the Horological Machine No1 equipped with the first movement featuring four barrels connected in parallel and series in order to have the energy transmitted from two sources simultaneously. One year later, the brand launched the Horological Machine No2 with instantaneous jumping hours, concentric retrograde minutes, retrograde date and bi-hemisphere moon phases. In 2009 the brand unveiled their third watch, the Horological Machine No3, with an upside-down movement and a double-edged battle-axe winding rotor. The Horological Machine No4 was released in 2010 and was inspired by aviation. Actually the watch was divided into two separated pods. The Horological Machine No5 was inspired by the 70’s and the quartz technology. In order to celebrate their 15th anniversary, the brand introduced several novelties including a robot, Melchior, which was able to tell time. In 2016 the brand announced Sherman, a table clock shaped as a robot which was able to give time and smile.
