Watches are desirable and often very expensive objects that can be noticed from quite a distance and make people envious. Special care should be taken with these items, both at home and on the street, to minimise the risk of robbery. We are witnessing an explosion of street robberies around the world. Whether it is tourists wearing luxury watches or customers leaving a shop, the number of watch snatchings is constantly increasing. You can strengthen the security of your watches at home by having an armoured door and/or a built-in safe installed to discourage burglars. A bank safe is an effective solution, but you will not enjoy your watches as often and the annual fee over a few years is close to the cost of a home safe. Choose wisely and according to your risk aversion, as there is no perfect solution.
